The Rector of the Aghanloo, Balteagh, Carrick and Tamlaghtard Group of Parishes, Rev Rhys Jones, is teaming up again with Rev Eleanor Craig to host a special event at which women are invited to gather in God's presence and celebrate the role of women in ministry.
The morning event, 'Arise', will take place in Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre in Limavady on Saturday 15th March from 9.30am–1.00pm.
"Each of us knows just how pivotal a role women’s ministry can be," Rev Rhys says. "It holds a unique place of nurture, instruction, encouragement and discipline in our communities, churches, and most importantly in the microcosms of our homes. As Rector of the host parishes, I want to celebrate the deeply biblical role women’s ministry has not only in each of our lives but in the wider Christian Ministry context and, in doing so, encourage the ladies of these parishes and the wider diocesan family in their journey with God.
"As a consequence, I offer an open invitation to the ladies of the diocese to attend and be part of ‘Arise’ – a conference that celebrates and seeks to teach and instruct the role of women in Christian witness, teaching, and ministry. We’d love to have you become part of the morning's proceedings as we welcome the very gifted Rev Ali to the North West of the province."
The morning's worship will be led by Wired Worship.
More details can be found on the attached promotional poster and tickets are very modestly priced. For booking and further information contact Rev Rhys or the Rev Eleanor.
