🕊️ 25 Years Later — We Remember
Some dates become more than just a date. They become a moment in history that the world will never forget.
Today, our thoughts are with the thousands of innocent people who never made it home on September 11, 2001. With the husbands, wives, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and friends who were taken far too soon.
We remember the families who received the call they never wanted to hear. The children who grew up without a parent. The loved ones who still carry an empty seat at the table.
And we remember the brave firefighters, police officers, first responders and ordinary people who ran towards danger while others were running away. Many gave everything to save a stranger.
Twenty-five years may have passed, but for those who lost someone, the pain and memories never simply disappear.
Today, we pause. We remember. We honour their lives, their courage and their stories.
Gone from sight, but never from our hearts.
