💫’Who can say where the road goes…’ 💫
It was such a dream to play Only Time by Enya as Louise walked up the aisle at The Merrion Hotel, Dublin. A moment full of magic and love! Huge congratulations Louise and Glenn 💍🎶

👰 Here Comes the Bride 👰 — the moment everyone’s waiting for.

This iconic bridal march is actually the Bridal Chorus from Richard Wagner’s 1850 opera Lohengrin. This piece gained popularity after Queen Victoria’s daughter used it at her wedding in 1858.

From opera stage to aisle entrance, it’s become a timeless soundtrack for walking into forever. 💍✨

Huge congratulations Samantha & Stephen 🥂

❤️Pachelbel’s Canon - Johann Pachelbel❤️

This piece is one of the most recognizable pieces of classical music, often heard at weddings, graduations, and other ceremonial occasions.

Johann Pachelbel (1653–1706) was a German Baroque composer and organist. He was well-known during his lifetime, especially for his keyboard and sacred music

Canon in D was likely composed around 1680 or possibly earlier.

Warming up before Sierra & David’s wedding ceremony - here is a short video of Pachelbel’s Canon performed at the beautiful Belle Isle Estate, Co. Fermanagh.

🎶Gabriel’s Oboe🎶

Really enjoyed playing this piece at Stephanie & Niall’s wedding. Stephanie walked up the aisle to this beautiful piece!

Composed by Ennio Morricone, is the main theme for the 1986 film The Mission. Many of you might recognise this piece as “Nella Fantasia” (“In My Fantasy”) which is a song sung in Italian based on the theme “Gabriel’s Oboe”. This is a very popular instrumental piece played during wedding ceremonies. Both lyrical and stately in style, Gabriel’s Oboe captures a really intriguing atmosphere. Only around two minutes in length, the lyricism shown by Morricone through both the soloist and accompanying parts is why the music is still so popular today.

I love playing in churches, the acoustics are always amazing! 😍

🎶Clair de Lune - Claude Debussy🎶

I really enjoyed learning this beautiful piece for Stephanie and Niall’s wedding. Here is a snippet of Clair de Lune.

Such great acoustics in Garraunboy Church, not to talk about the most stunning stain glass windows!
