𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗼 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹

Actavo Events was appointed by MCD to deliver comprehensive event infrastructure for New Year’s Festival Dublin (NYF Dublin), which took place from 30th December to 1st January. The event once again attracted tens of thousands of attendees, making it one of the most significant events in the national cultural calendar.

We delivered comprehensive infrastructure services for the Dublin Castle programme, including the Echoes of Ireland Concerts, the family-friendly Countdown Matinee, the annual Countdown Concert, and New Year’s Day events.

This included main-stage construction, lighting and sound rigging, crowd-control infrastructure, mojo and barrier systems, Heras fencing, and extensive draping for artist areas and backstage zones. The centrepiece was an 18m x 12m Tunnel Roof stage structure, installed at a height of 10m to meet the festival's technical and production requirements.

𝗔 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺

It was an exciting opportunity for our team to provide event infrastructure for the EPCR Investec Champions Cup round 3 rugby game on Saturday, where Leinster was victorious against Stade Rochelais at the Aviva Stadium in a nail-biting finish.

To facilitate a safe experience for all, Actavo Events provided infrastructure including crowd control barriers for the surrounding areas of the stadium. Our offering also encompassed project management and logistical support.

𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸

It was a privilege to be involved in the recent NFL UK & Ireland game, where the Pittsburgh Steelers came out victorious against the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park.

To facilitate additional attendees at the game, we transformed the traditional standing Hill 16 area of Croke Park to a custom seating area, facilitating an additional 6,200 spectators. We also provided camera platforms, broadcast boxes, a band stand, bespoke rigging and infrastructure solutions and logistical support.

As always, we’re proud to play our part in some of Ireland’s highest profile events. The city centre transformed into a hive of sport, culture and tourism to welcome this new sport to Dublin.

Actavo Events was delighted to be able to play a part in the David Saunders Cup, held in Rathmore over the weekend. Our team provided and installed 150 seats for the event which saw Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians FC and Cork City battle it out for the Association League and Cup.

A huge congratulations to Cork City who impressively clinched both honours!

ACTAVO WELCOMES HOME THE GIRLS IN GREEN! 🇮🇪

When the girls in green returned home last week, Actavo Events was thrilled to have been able to supply the necessary infrastructure on O’Connell Street to allow the crowds to give them the hero’s welcome they deserved.

Our team, led by project manager, Darragh Byrne, provided and installed the stage, accessible viewing platforms, camera towers, PA hangs, system, crowd control barriers and heras fencing for the event.

DCU Trolley Race 🛒

Actavo Events were delighted to be involved in DCU’s event of the year that took place on Wednesday afternoon. The highly-anticipated trolley race around the Glasnevin Campus!

An amazingly enjoyable day was had by all involved and a lot of great money was raised for the Dublin R**e Crisis Centre. Our crew supplied, installed and derigged crowd control barriers that could be seen along the route. You would have also met our friendly team handing out flyers at the recruitment drive on site.

Well done to all the students involved, the DCU Karting team for organising and we hope to see you all again next year for another exhilarating race!

Actavo Events’ Paul and Emily attended the UK Major Events Summit organised by Major Events International at Emirates Old Trafford last week.

The event was a forum to discuss industry wide issues and to share learnings and ideas with industry colleagues. It was great to network with new industry contacts and to catch up and reconnect with our clients!

We are delighted here at Actavo Events to be involved in this years ‘Row Your Demons’ event. The launch event will take place this coming Saturday October 15th at the Dublin Municipal Rowing Centre to kick start what is going to be an amazing two weeks of rowing and fundraising.

The occasion will help raise funds for the su***de prevention charity www.turn2me.ie - A Lifeline Online. It is not too late to book your seat now and row for just 30 minutes which will pay for one hour of counselling for someone in need, or simple just go online to www.rowyourdemons.ie to donate to the cause.
