RFA have quickly transcended the often hard to break out of Australian music scene and become a band welcomed onto stages around the world. In 2025, they booked one London headline show that, due to insane demand, ended up expanding to six sold-out shows in the span of a singular month. Later that year, they played their first US run, which included three sold-out NYC shows. They’ve spent festival season touring around the world’s biggest stages, from Governor’s Ball to Reading and Leeds. Back home in Australia, they supported Geese on their first trip down under, and warmed the stage for The Killers on their last arena run. Now they're coming to Button Factory as part of their "What's in between tour".

Max Cooper is an electronic composer, multi-disciplinary artist, music label founder and former scientist who has carved out a unique space in music and visual art.

After his two sold-out Button Factory shows in January 2025, we’re delighted to welcome him back to the stage as part of our BF30 anniversary celebrations.

Cooper has enquired for over 15 years through music, collaborations, and his label Mesh, to explore the intersections between the arts and sciences with installations, performances, immersive experiences, online media, music videos and live events. Anchored throughout is his emotive approach, connecting how ideas and forms feel, in a manner accessible to all.

Fabric presents Max Cooper is out on the 2nd of October via fabric Records. A compilation of techno, IDM, breakbeat, ambient and Neo-classical sounds spanning seminal 90’s productions through to contemporary electronic music. Drawing from Cooper’s 30+ year relationship with electronic and club music, Cooper has managed to create a mix that feels familiar, yet entirely new.

BF30 welcomes back: Modeselektor

Modeselektor first landed in Button Factory in October 2011 following the release of their legendary record 'Monkeytown'.

We're delighted to partner with U:Mack and Foggy Notions to bring Modeselektor back to Button Factory for a one off DJ set, as part of our BF30 anniversary series.

Modeselektor have been shaping the electronic music scene since the early 2000s with their flamboyant DJ sets and genre-melding productions. The duo of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary formed in the early 90s Berlin rave scene, and quickly took their eclectic blend of Berlin techno, IDM and electronic hip-hop beats all over the world. This is not one to miss.

NewDad left their mark in Button Factory following two huge sold-out shows in February 2024, celebrating their much awaited debut album 'Madra'. Without pause NewDad have gone on to tour globally - from Glastonbury to Coachella, sharing stages with Fontaines DC, Slowdive and David Byrne.

We're ecstatic to reconnect with NewDad and welcome them back once again for a truly special, one-off anniversary show this December. Do not wait - this will move fast.

Crafting shimmering dream-pop gems that muster the spirit of shoegaze’s heyday, NewDad are breathing new life into the sub-genre. After two sold-out Button Factory shows in 2024 and two critically acclaimed albums, they have toured extensively across the UK, Europe, Asia and North America, shared stages with artists including David Byrne and Fontaines D.C and performed at Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera, Lollapalooza and All Points East. We're delighted to welcome NewDad back to our stage for a very special one-off BF30 anniversary show.
