When Mark asked me to do the flowers for their wedding venue, it genuinely meant so much. It’s a different kind of pressure when it’s people you care about, but also such an honour to be trusted with it.
The brief for the flowers came from Doireann, I created the table centrepieces, building out the candelabras with soft whites, darker foliage and lots of texture to work with the candlelight and the overall feel of the space.
Everything just came together so well on the day, which is always a relief, but also one of those moments where you step back and think, ok I love getting to do this as my job. Grateful to have been a small part of such a special day!

A closer look at one of the groom’s buttonholes from a recent wedding. I love how much detail can go into something this small, the mix of blush, lilac and softer neutral textures worked so nicely together in person.

I love making these smaller pieces because all the tiny textures and details stand out so much more up close.
This one used softer neutral tones with rust accents and preserved eucalyptus to tie in with the bridal flowers.

The lighting on this bouquet deserved its own post. I love the mix of yellows with all the softer textures and eucalyptus, it feels really fresh and summery without being too bright.
Preserved flowers honestly photograph so differently in natural light and this one turned out so nicely!
