39 new championships have been crowned this evening at the National Stadium, in the culmination of the 2026 National Boy/Girl 4 Championships.

Congratulations to all finalists, their clubs and families.

Boxing continues on Saturday with the Junior 1 Championship finals, and the semi-finals of the Junior 2 Championships.

🕊️ Rest in Peace, Young Fighter

A 17-year-old boxer has tragically lost her life during a sparring session.

She stepped into the ring with passion, courage, and a dream like every fighter who dares to chase greatness.

Her death is a heartbreaking reminder that behind every punch and every round, there are young souls giving everything for the sport they love.

💔 May her soul rest in peace, and may her story remind us all of the importance of safety, compassion, and respect in combat sports.

Team Ireland's Pa Casey has been awarded the Best Male Boxer of the 2025 European U15 Championships.

This incredible achievement is made all the more so as the Sliabh Luachra BC boxer is a Boy 2, in his first year of international competition

Pa won the 44kg European title today, with wins over Lativa, Poland, England and Israel.

32 federations and over 350 boxers have contested these championships, held in Budva, Montenegro.
