Inspired by true stories THE BRÓD, THE BOLD, & THE BEAUTIFUL is an original, raucous new comedy drama spanning 30 years of Irish LGBTQ experience and exploring the challenges and joys of living as a young LGBTQ+ person today.

Ivy has a new place, a new space. It’s not home. Home is now a collection of memories and dreams from which she cannot escape. In a pull between the real and the imagined, the past and the present, Ivy wraps herself in ritual, piecing together the meaning of home in flashes and fragments. Navigating a path through a broken system, hope is found in the absurd in this dark, often physical exploration of a woman in hidden homelessness.

Conor is a Wicklow native, graduating from the 2024/25 Full-Time selection at The National Screen Academy of Ireland, Bow Street. An equal background in stage acting, Conor also holds a two year QQI accredited Performing Arts qualification from Dublin College Education and Training where he was selected for back-to-back Performer of The Year.

Recent credits since graduating from The National Academy include; playing the lead role in a stage production of the Anton Chekhov classic, THE SEAGULL at The Whale Theatre, lead roles in two short films I DON’T KNOW THAT MAN and GETTING TO KNOW YOU and a corporate training series in collaboration with CYBERSECURITY IRELAND.

A massive congratulations to our very own Bláthnaid Daly, who will be brining her show, CONNEMARVELLOUS, to The New Theatre: Dublin from the 8th - 10th of April.

CONNEMARVELLOUS is a fast-moving bilingual comedy about a teenager’s first reluctant trip to the Gaeltacht. When her parents abandon her to chase sunshine on a foreign holiday, she finds herself trapped between céilís, cúpla focail and an unexpected enemy from home.

Packed with sharp observations, wry humour and playful code-switching, Connemarvellous explores the joys and mortifications of growing up Irish and learning to survive both the Irish language and your peers.

Following its development under an Arts Council Agility Award and a sold-out run at Scene + Heard, the new full production arrives in The New Theatre this April for an evening of Gaeilge, giggles and glorious teenage chaos.

We are thrilled to welcome the wonderful Mícheál Ó' Fearraigh to Castaway Actors Agency. 🔥

Mícheál is an actor and writer from Co. Donegal.

His Web/ TV credits to date have primarily been in the Irish language include TG4’s first mockumentary AN POITÍN, ROS NA RÚN, and AM ABÚ, his upcoming credits include CRÁ and SAMHRADH FUAR FLIUCH AN GHEIMRIDH.

His theatre credits include HARVEY DARKO, the clowning show based loosely on the films Harvey and Donnie Darko which he co-wrote and co-starred in along with Francis Breen as part of the Scene + Heard festival. Other theatre credits include the immersive improvised theatre show CEREBRAL RATHAUS which was performed at the Electric Picnic, FIONN AGUS CLOCHAN AN AIFIR and FIONN SA SPÁS, the two Christmas shows he performed in with Fíbín sa Taibhdhearc as well as his many collaborations with the Eva’s Echo Theatre Company, a highlight of which was to multi-role on the Druid Fuel project STARDOM.

Mícheál is also an improviser and sketch comedian. He recently finished a tour of the West of Ireland with the environmental improv project WE BUILT THIS CITY, he is a member of the improv group BLANK COP, BLANK COP and the sketch group VENGABOYZ WORLD PEACE MEAT.

He completed an Acting Diploma with the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and has trained at the Lir, Stoke Improv, the Actor’s Room, MOB Theatre Dublin, Maureen Hughes Casting, and Add Absurdum, as well as many others. He also holds a BA degree from the University of Galway in English and Mathematics with Creative Writing.
