It was an honour for us to be part of this historic moment — the first time ever that Garotos Podres have played the Emerald Isle, the opening show of their 2025 European tour, and the re-release of their debut album on vinyl — and it was SOLD OUT.

Thanks to every single person who was there enjoying this amazing celebration. Special shoutout to the incredible team at The Sound House — you guys are the best! — and also to Icaro Arthur, Laura Cahill, Leo Bulldog and Felipe Müller. And last but not least, both bands that played last night, of course.

Garotos Podres are one of the most iconic Brazilian punk bands, with a powerful message and stance.

Go raibh míle maith agat to the amazing The New Normal NI, who captivated both Brazilian and Dub hearts with their powerful performance. The New Normal are a four-piece punk/alt rock band from Belfast. In October 2023, they released their debut EP, “Not Yours”, an 11-minute burst of raw punk energy. Ever since its release, they’ve followed it up with several subsequent banger singles.

Headlining the night are the legendary Garotos Podres. Formed in 1982 in São Paulo, they’ve become one of Brazil’s most iconic punk bands, which also happens to be an absolute powerhouse on stage.

We are thrilled to announce RATOS DE PORAO oficial's return to Ireland!

After more than four decades of relentless punk, hardcore, and crossover thrash, Brazilian legends Ratos de Porão are back in Dublin for another unmissable show. Catch them on Wednesday, 28th May 2025, at LoSt LaNe Dublin for a night of pure energy and raw aggression.

Formed in 1981, Ratos de Porão has shaped the Brazilian and global underground scenes with albums like "Crucificados Pelo Sistema" (1984), "Brasil" (1989), and their latest release, "Necropolítica" (2022). With a lineup unchanged for over two decades—João Gordo (vocals), Jão (guitar), Juninho (bass), and Boka (drums)—they continue to deliver ferocious performances worldwide.

Supporting them on the night is The Risen Dread, one of Ireland’s rising metal forces. Featuring Mat Maher (bass), Marco Feltrin (vocals), William Ribeiro (guitar), and Marcos Batata (drums), the band made an impact with their debut album "Night Hag" (2022) and will be releasing their brand-new album on this occasion.
