Twinkle Twinkle little vase..✨
Love a sparkly bud vase.. I have a collection /hoard of 'crystal' vases of all sizes that look beautiful on a sunny summer day.. they catch the light, they show off the flowers beautifully and let them breathe...each making it's own stunning statement, saying '"I am here! I'm a little flower! look at me shine!!"

But then I'm a florist. My job is to make flowers shine. I also love a grapefruit as a vase. Cocktail options don't ya know.

This collection was for Tara & Tom last weekend at Castlemartyr Resort.. and to my delight they took the flowers away with them after 😍

Candle in the Wind

If only you knew how many times we had to light these candles.. Aircon. In the hottest week in Ireland in...well ..my memory anyway.
BUT .. this is the best pic I ever took of flowers on a table. I found a new setting on my phone and this is genuinely what they looked like.
I'd be happy to be sitting in front of those for the night. I hope everyone else was.

Life story.
So y'know when all the insta advisors say you gotta be your authentic self and show your face n all that. Well, this picture shows you 99 % of me , just not my face.
How so?- You might ask .. ( or you might not) but,here it is..

So.. I've always been into bones.Today my pal sent me a post about Georgia O Keeffe and I remembered why!! Because of her desert Art and huge and minimalist but maximalist flowers..I'd forgotten how much I loved that stuff and that I had wanted to move to Mexico because of her.. it's not too late!

Then the primula.. tiny little florets in a teeny little inkwell that I found on the beach...Within that inkwell are some shells that were born in there but grew too big to get out.. there's a life lesson there somewhere that I don't want to think about.
Then there's the apothecary skull and the not fake deer skull in the window with the wildflower that is herb Robert but it isn't? The very plant that led me to being a florist. The VERY actual plant .
So here I am. 27 (😳) years later.27 years older. 27 years worth of bones and old bottles .. and I still haven't been to Mexico. Not too late .
