Sceilig Sport Horses welcome students at any level from Ireland or abroad for showjumping coaching on their own horse / pony. Lessons can be arranged with Kilian by phone.

Registered Cass 1 Connemara by Blakehill Ballylee Storm out of a Cnocbán Cassanova Mare.

Was a broodmare until last summer, 2024, backed and broken over the winter. Season 2025 is her first season under saddle. Very sweet mare with excellent flat work and great movement. Snaffle mouth. Jumping around 80cm tracks happily.

Lovely genuine pony to work with, good in and out of the stable and hacks out alone and in company and is good in traffic.

Registered Overheight Connemara by Class 1 stallion Bettyspark Shadow out of a Kirrin Malachi Mare.

Very well established pony with excellent flat work and genuine attitude towards life. Snaffle mouth. Jumping around 80/90cm tracks and schooled xcountry.

Proving to be very sensible and genuine to work with. He is good in and out of the stable and easy to have around the place. He hacks out alone and in company and is good in traffic.

As a four year old he won the Clifden Green Hunter Working Hunter Qualifier at Cork Show, 1st South Leinster IPS M&M Novice not exc 138, 1st M&M not exc 138 Midleton Show, 3rd 4&5 year old Discovery WH at North East Connemara Show, 1st 70cm Performance Class at Midlands Connemara Show '24, IPS M&M Novice not exc 138 National Champion.
2025 season - 1st Western IPS M&M not exc 138 WH, 2nd Spring IPS M&M not exc 138 WH, Top 10 finish at NIF HOYS 143 M&M WH, 4th NIF M&M Novice 143 WH, 1st Cork Area IPS M&M not exc 138 WH, 2nd Bandon Open M&M Large Breeds WH, 1st Charleville Show M&M not exc 138 WH.
Jumping 80 and 90's SJI, 27 points to date.
Has been cross country schooled.
Never sick or sorry, easy to do all with, clean limbs.

Dunlewey Ridge books his Dublin Horse Show ticket last weekend at Orchard Lodge in a massive class of 49 4&5 year old connemara ponies battling it out!

We had a busy weekend at Cork Summer Show with a lorry load of Show Jumpers and Connemaras packed in!!
Our 4 year old show jumpers got out to experience what a busy agricultural show looks and sounds like with them jumping around the 90's and 1metre.
The connemara's kept us really busy all day with Dunlewey Ridge grabbing his Connemara Pony Show - Clifden Green Hunter ticket with one of only 3 clears in a big class of 4 year olds, he then finished off his day being pulled in 2nd in a hot O16 Connemara Ridden Class and his stable mate Ballylee Dash, another 4 year old, being pulled in 5th.
Blakehill Ella continued her great run of form with a 1st in the Connemara Young Handlers, 3rd in the MAS "QUEST for the BEST" Connemara class, 1st in the U16 Connemara Ridden class, and finishing off her day by being crowned Reserved Connemara Champion.
Bodhran of Hazelfield stepped up again with a pole in the MAS Connemara Working Hunter Derby - a big, spooky, technical track which he loved jumping around.

Blakehill Ella made the early, 3am start, worthwhile, with qualifying first time asking for Dublin Horse Show at Tullylish in the Connemara U16 Class!
This time last year, Ella was still a broodmare, this is her first season under saddle and her and Amber's second show together!!
She is truly the perfect example of a child's pony with her great attitude in the ring!
Well done, Amber and Ella!

A long but successful day at the IPS Spring Champs!
All the ponies came home with rosettes!
🥈Axel(Bodhran of Hazelfield) kept his clean sheet again with a 2nd in the Novice M&M Working Hunter, not exc 138.
🥈Mylo (Dunlewey Ridge) kept his cool in a big Novice M&M class to be pulled in 2nd, only his second day out.
🏅Bob (Ballylee Dash) also got great milage pulling in 5th in the Novice M&M and jumping around the 70 Performance Class.
🥉Ella (Blakehill Ella) let the excitement get to her in the Novice Connemara to be pulled in 3rd, but after an actual warm-up went really well in the O16 Connie to be pulled in 5th.
🥉Irish O'Niell & Clonagoose Daniel Dubh made the early start worth it with a 3rd in the RIHS 153 Qualifier and a 4th in the Open 153, their first show back since Dublin last year!
We left at 6.30am thursday morning and arrived back at 12.15am Friday morning, that's one for the books!!!
