Get to know me a bit better ✨holiday edition✨

1. I used to be THE dog person. I was everything dogs until we got Jazz my first cat. Now I love both.

2. But last week I changed my cats for my mum's new dog. People meet... Bella!
We got along straight away and played apple fetch all week long.

3. Talking about my mum, I still don't know how she manages to keep 500 plants alive (500 is not an exaggeration, is literally what she roughly has). To me it's hard to keep 12, let alone 500.

4. And while my mum pass on her passion for animals and plants, my dad gave me his creativity. That's what he made with stuff he had at home for the chickens to enjoy fresh grass. Genius.

5. While my parents worked on their thing I did some work too, but literally like this. Emails and organising my next in person workshop.

6. All while saving bugs from drowning in the pool (I've been doing this since I can remember). This little fellow got really lucky.

7. My moon in Virgo makes me prefer swimming in the pool than in the river. But give me a stream of water, a rock and some trees and I start feeling inspired automatically. Btw, and talking about bugs... that day an army of flying ants made an entrance and ruined the moment).

8. By the river we celebrated my sister's in law Bday with all the fam, but the real reason we went on that holiday was to see one of my best friends and best person on the Earth getting married.

9. I love food, even more since going vegan. And we wanted to try different places. If the food has flowers even better.

10. Food and coffee are out mottos and seeing (and oc tasting) especialty coffee in my home town was a nice discovery.

11. More things food, churros go better with thick hot choc, but they go with coffee too. These ones were super fresly made at the farmers market and they were just €2. A total bargain.

12. Talking about food, swimming pools and family, my cousin took this photo of the full moon while refreshing outside the night before our trip back.

13. And last, but not least, my brother! We went for a last meal together. Btw he's an AMAZING photographer starting his career.

✨Workshop alert✨

Since the first workshop I hosted this year was a total success, I decided to set a second date for those who missed the first one.

It will be the 30th of August at 2:30 as in Bandon (take a peek at the venue scrolling all the way to the left)

A super chill and relaxing class to let your creativity flow. And don't worry about your artistic level because this is for everyone. Bring your friend, mum, aunty, I promise it will be great!

✨Emily✨

You know, I'm a 'the glass is half full' kinda person. I like to think in a positive way, not all the time, but most of the time.

When I receive this bouquet I was a bit like this 🫣. It was around 2 weeks old and very very destroyed, and that's why there's not a 'before' photo (moldy in some parts), but I didn't want to give up. I took a chance on it.

And thank god I did. Because it turned out so so good. Something that was heading to the bin, transformed to be a forever piece of art.

Emily is not the bride, but her friend, and she liked the piece so much that we're taking our chances again with her own bouquet that was already dried.

So grateful being able to call this my job 🥹

✨Quick tutorial✨

I recommend watching every slide until the end because this is info I don't share everyday.

I got a message asking how to press these types of flowers (thick centre/thin petals) and here's a 3-min tutorial to help you out.

🌻If the flower is small press it whole, if it's big press by petals.
🌻I use bamboo. You can use blotting paper too.
🌻Change the papers 1 or 2 times in the first week.
🌻Don't tighten the flower press too much or you will shred the centres.
🌻Flowers should be ready in 3 weeks. If you doubt leave them longer.

Pretty ✨finds✨ in the flower presses lately.

Not all of them, there's a recon constructed rose, BUT, the petals were stunning.

And yes , I made mistakes too and messed up with some flowers, but that's just life. You'll never get 100% perfect flowers. And I want to get real about that.

Sometimes it's good to celebrate the little wins.

✨ The Dogs Days Market ✨

I said it before, I don't usually do markets. Only when I have a bit of time or when something interesting pops up.

This, was the second. When I knew what and were organising I couldn't say no. And, oh boy it didn't disappoint.

It was super well organised, fun vibes, live music. And it was BUSY. Like BUSY. And that could only mean the amount of work and promoting there was behind it all.

Thanks to all the people that stopped by, had a chat, followed me here and bought something. You rock.

I wish you could've smelled this bouquet. It was heaven and for sure if I could keep the scent in the frame I would do it too.

Double glass, A3 on the meadow style was the winner frame this past year. But I can't get too tired of making this style, it's just gorge.

✨ What I'm up to these days (in a few images)✨

1. I went back to making handmade cards for the upcoming markets.

2. I was back again at the Riverside Market at . This time it wasn't as good as the first time. Weather, other events happening. But It was fun nevertheless.

3. I left flyers and stickers around Ballincollig for the (I'll be there selling the cards from the 1st photo and much more).

4. I finally joined .ie you can check my profile and book your bouquet preservation from there.

5. You're keeping us busy with all the 💐 incoming. I'm more than grateful you get my small bizz going.

6. I hosted my first ever Hen Party! 🎉 at .cork And yes, I will be offering this as an option in the future. A relaxing private workshop for you and your close ones 🤗

Rose's 💐

I don't mean to offend anyone, really, but this was my favourite piece of the 2024 bouquets. I don't know if it was the style or the colour combo (or both), but I think it turned out stunning.

And it wasn't just me who said it, even the staff at did (btw they're the company that makes my custom frames), and they're used to seeing my pieces.

Anyways, I think it was time this piece was featured on the feed, don't you think?

Laura's 💐💁🏽‍♀️🖼️

I wish photos did justice, to be honest. When I finished this piece I knew it would be hard to capture how beautiful it turned out.

Laura was sure she wanted a big statement piece in the meadow style. But what made it more special is that she had 2 types of flowers: her full white bouquet (cala lilies included) and the Autumny flowers that were her decor. She wanted both to be part of the memory.

And I couldn't agree more. Such a special one!
