Cloughjordan House, a 800 year old property based in North Tipperary is home to a Cookery School, Guest house and Wedding and Events venue. Sarah Baker who is Ballymaloe trained, established the Cookery School in 2009. The boutique style Guest rooms, Ballroom and marquee wedding and events space complement the Cookery school in that Quality Food is the Centre of all our focus. Our hands on cookery

classes will inspire you to cook for fun and create your own unique dishes at home. With an emphasis on fresh, seasonal and local foods, learn both essential techniques and creative cooking in the intimate setting of our country house kitchen. We also offer one and two-day field trips for Transition Year students, combining our cookery classes with education in quality food production, practical cookery and food awareness in relation to the green agenda. We pride ourselves on offering a laid back, house party vibe to our couples. With five different ceremony spaces to choose for you can spend the entire weekend onsite with your nearest and dearest and enjoy an truly magical one of a kind wedding celebration.

Cloughjordan House is a 800 year old country house based in North Tipperary.

We are a family run private wedding and corporate events venue, with a focus on providing genuine hospitality, sustainably sourced food, and a welcoming, helpful team. The atmosphere is relaxed and intended to be a home away from home for our guests. Our walled garden provides many of the vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers for our cooking school and events, while other produce is sourced as locally as possible from artisan producers. Finally, we value our incredible team and the unique community we operate in – our people and place make us who we are.
