Celebrating little Miss Bowie’s TENTH birthday, just minutes from where she was born.
She was desperate to visit her namesake cafe for her birthday. (Thank you to the patient barista for making me my first matcha!)
She has filled our lives with so much love and fun and fashion advice!!
Cannot believe my baby is 10!!!

PARENT’S PROCESSIONAL
A lovely trend that I’m seeing more and more is parents of both parties getting married having a formal entrance to the wedding ceremony. It’s a great way to honour parents.
Things to ask them are : if they want everyone to be upstanding and entrance music playing as they walk up or would they prefer to walk in just before the formal entrance to mark the beginning of the ceremony.
I have had both mothers walk up the aisle together which is lovely or both sets of parents which again is really special.
I think the most important thing is that there are no rules and as a couple you are to do whatever it feels right for you and your families during your humanist wedding ceremony.
As a Humanist Celebrant I love having these conversations with a couples figuring out ways to make their ceremony reflect them as a couple .

All the feels for these photos by for emmalindsay_ & Steven Lewis’s humanist wedding ceremony Cabra Castle. The couple wanted a “fun, lighthearted, upbeat and personal” ceremony which, based on these photos alone, I think we achieved! Their siblings lit the Unity Candles to open the ceremony and the couple took flame from those candles to light their unity candle to close the ceremony.
I shared the story of how they met, or rather re-connected and they both wrote some incredibly beautiful and heartfelt answers to the questions “What do you love most about the other”, “why you’re marrying the other”, “describe the other in 3 words” and “what marriage means to them” which added so many more tears and laughter to the ceremony.

Love this!

This is honestly so cool.

In a post shared on X (Twitter), user shared photos of her late brother’s casket. In the post’s caption, she explained that “he used to joke about making people put band stickers on his casket”, as well as throw candy inside.

While she “never thought that day would come so soon,” she and the rest of his loved ones “made sure he had the most punk coffin in history.”
