Westport Jazz are bringing something special to round off their resoundingly beautiful year of jazz in their wonderful part of Mayo!

Westport Jazz are teaming up with the spirited, twenty-strong Music West Big Band to invite you to a festive celebration of jazz, song, dance and joy!

Warm your hearts, bring family, dance partners and friends and enjoy getting dressed up to the nines, whilst helping raise funds for FOCUS Ireland with donations welcome and be there to share and truly swing into Christmas!

Join the Music West Big Band & Westport Jazz for an early evening dancing to smooth jazz & fabulous Christmas tunes on Sunday 7th December in the Velvet Room at the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar.
Tickets are €15 on the door but can be reserved by calling 098 28088.
Music is from 3pm to 5pm with a swing dance class from 2pm.

We had a very busy but enjoyable day today at Music West. Visiting were Donegal Youth Orchestra and Coole Music joined our own Mayo Youth Orchestra as preparation for their joint performance at the National Concert Hall, Dublin, Ireland in February ‘26. It sounded fab already! 🎶

Great turnout at Music West, Castlebar, today for the Tri Orchestra rehearsal hosted by Mayo Youth Orchestra - 85 musicians and an amazing sound.

Last week we had our first emerging musicians ensemble session at Music West. This was for new musicians who are inexperienced in playing with others. Zane Katoniece and Debbie Clarke led the practice with "Everything is Black and Gold". Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next ensemble session in December.
