A final glimpse into Sarah & Darragh’s breathtaking wedding day, the couple received their full Image set this week, delivered less than two weeks after their big day. Every detail was stunning, but nothing compared to the way these two look at each other.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been behind the lens for this one, capturing the candid smiles, the stolen glances, and the raw emotion that made their day so uniquely theirs.

Sarah & Darragh.

What an incredible honour to capture Sarah & Darragh's wedding day at the lovely Hamlet Court Hotel in Kildare.

I'm not gonna lie, there were nerves on my part heading up the road yesterday morning, tasked with photographing the full Wedding Day of two people I had never met before, the first time ever doing a full day wedding from Prep to First Dance, but I need not have worried at all!

Sarah & Darren, and their full wedding party, were a pleasure to deal with, and the most chilled back crew as I blended in capturing every moment.

It was a long but rewarding day, and I'm excited to get this full set edited and sent on.

When I started this page, shooting a full wedding in the first year was ambitious I thought, but with two now in just a few short weeks, and another few booked for the months ahead, things are getting really exciting.

I'm grateful for every kind word, message of support and inquiry, it means soo much.

Dawn & Alan.

What an incredible privilege to be asked to capture Dawn Popham & Alan's beautiful wedding day at the stunning BrookLodge.

The pair, who I've known and been friends with for years, spent six months planning the ultimate secret wedding, eloping to the Wicklow Mountains to tie the knot.

These two are such incredibly lovely people, and they laughed, (nearly) cried and enjoyed every last second of the day, doing things their way as a surprise to everyone (I think ten people knew about the wedding and six were in attendance on the day!)

Not only was it a special occasion for Dawn & Alan, it was also the very first Wedding I have had the honour of capturing, and it will be a day that will always be special to me and the journey growing Cian Donnellan Photography.

Fassbender.

One of the more unique shots I was hired for was the visit of Michael Fassbender to Killarney in 2019.

The brief was to capture Michael as he tested his car before the Rally of The Lakes, and he was incredibly nice to chat to and photograph that cold morning on the side of a mountain, a million miles from the glitz and glamour.

He was shooting a series for Porsche as part of his trip so there was a formal element to the morning, but I was free to capture the natural charisma that Michael has, and that familiar smile that has lit up screens around the world.

Lando & Carlos.

Going back through old pictures, and I found these from January 2019 when two very fresh faced stars made public debut in McLaren colours at the Autosport International Show.

Carlos Sainz would go on to grab his first pole in F1 that season, while the rookie Lando Norris went on to do quite a bit in his career with McLaren!

I held a door open for the pair when they were leaving the Media Centre, so I can surely claim to have played a very very very tiny part in the path to the World Championship?

Also, what a time when the McLaren merchandise didn't carry a single sponsor, such was how low an ebb the team was on at that point!
