We’re proud to share that CPI was named a finalist for the IMEX-EIC Innovation in Sustainability Award.

Our submission focused on the International Social Housing Festival (ISHF), a global event that brings together housing providers, policymakers and sector leaders to address one of society’s most important challenges: affordable housing.

This recognition celebrates organisations driving sustainability forward through innovation, collaboration and measurable impact. These values were central to the delivery of ISHF and are deeply embedded in how we partner with our clients, communities and industry stakeholders every day.

To be recognised alongside other changemakers in the global business events industry is an honour, and a reflection of the collective commitment of our team, partners and clients to creating events that leave a positive legacy.

At CPI, we believe sustainability is not a standalone initiative. It’s a shared responsibility and an ongoing journey of continuous improvement, education and action.

We’re on-site at the newly rebranded Experience Campus, and it’s great to see that the fresh look hasn’t taken away from what makes it one of the world’s leading conference venues — a brilliant team and a deep understanding of association conferences.

Having hosted the 64th ASM here in 2024 (when it was still ACC Liverpool), it’s fantastic to be back with the British Society for Haematology community, which has grown even further since then.

This year, we’re looking forward to welcoming over 2,000 delegates to Liverpool over the next four days. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic programme, and our team is ready to get started.

Over 1,300 people are arriving in Manchester this week for the IEEE International Magnetics Intermag Conference. Our team is on-site and ready to welcome the magnetics community from over 40 countries.

The programme is packed with incredible speakers, including Nobel Laureate Prof. Sir Konstantin “Kostya” Novoselov, as well as dedicated workshops for Students and Women in Magnetism. We are excited to see everything unfold at Manchester Central this week.

Most company updates start at the end. The highlights. The polished version of events.

This one starts in the middle. Where ideas were still being shaped, challenged, and pushed further.

That was our Company Day.

Last year, we focused on Connected Leadership.

This year, we built on that and moved into something stronger. Collective Intelligence.

Ideas flowed freely, people shared what they knew without holding back, and different perspectives made the final result stronger.

We explored how human-centric AI can remove friction and create space for better thinking. We looked at how sharing expertise accelerates progress. We reinforced confidence in what has already been built.

The takeaway was simple. AI is a tool. The intelligence is in the room.

And the momentum from that room is carrying forward into everything we do next.

A special thank you must also be extended to Dublin Royal Convention Centre, FastLane Audio Visual and Teeling Whiskey Distillery for your support throughout the day and for helping us bring this day to life.

Claire Smyth and Nicola McGrane are currently in Athens for the IAPCO Annual Meeting & General Assembly 2026. Thank you to AFEA Congress, Convin SA, ERA Congresses & Events and Erasmus Conferences & Events S.A. for an amazing welcome to the city and the incredible evening at the Acropolis Museum.

We were delighted to have been shortlisted for the 2026 IAPCO Sustainability Award following our delivery of ISHF - International Social Housing Festival last June in Dublin. This recognition is something we are incredibly proud of. It was a fantastic achievement to be shortlisted from 14 global entries and a testament to our commitment to deliver impactful and responsible events. Congratulations to everyone involved.
