We were delighted to attend the ABPCO Excellence Awards today, an event that truly recognises and celebrates best practice across association and not-for-profit conferences and events. It was a pleasure to join so many inspiring colleagues and industry leaders at Manchester Central.

Although we didn’t take home an award this year, we are incredibly proud to have been nominated in two categories: Best Event by an Agency PCO for our work on the British Society for Haematology 's ASM and Best International Conference for the 5th ISHF - International Social Housing Festival .

These nominations are a testament to the dedication, collaboration, and excellence of our teams and partners. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees - our work continues to elevate the events industry!

Celebrating Our Outstanding Conference Ambassadors!

We’re thrilled to congratulate all of our incredible ambassadors who were recognised at the Conference Ambassador Recognition Awards by Fáilte Ireland in The RDS last Thursday evening! 🙌

First up is John McCarthy who was instrumental in bringing the 10th edition of the Transport Research Arena (TRA) to Dublin in 2024. We were excited to work together from bid stage right to the ex*****on of the event with not only John but numerous other committee members including Albert Daly, Bob Flynn, Richella Mulvihill, Jennifer Sherry, Esther Madden, Ciaran McNally, Beatriz Martínez Pastor and Celine.

With 4000+ attendees and 150+ exhibitors packing the RDS over the course of 4 days in April 2024, was a record-breaking success and we are delighted that your hard work and passion has been recognised with this award.

Congratulations again to all involved from the entire team here in CPI!

Yesterday evening we got to see the culmination of our collaboration with the wonderful team in Fáilte Ireland come together for an evening of celebration at the Conference Ambassador Recognition Awards in The RDS.

The team was lucky enough to experience the event from all sides as not only had we the pleasure of delivering the event alongside Ciara Gallagher, Donna Brogan and the wider Fáilte Ireland team but Conor Meany and Nicola McGrane had the privilege of attending the event alongside some of our amazing CPI Conference Ambassadors who received awards on the night. A huge congratulations to all.

After 18 months of planning, involving each of our specialist teams from operations and delegate services to marketing, programme and commercial, we were proud to bring the 3rd World Airway Management Meeting to Florence, Italy.

We were thrilled to welcome over 2,000 airway professionals to the Firenze Fiera for four days of immersive workshops, expert sessions, and engaging social events. We were able to showcase the best of Florence, from the city's hospitality to a magical masquerade ball at Palazzo Corsini.

We look forward to bringing the 4th Edition of the meeting to life in 2029.

Our team was onsite in London for the 20th Annual Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Conference, hosted by the incredible Academy For Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia team.

We were proud to welcome over 900 delegates from around the world to Excel London. This conference is a truly unique gathering of healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, and carers, all united in advancing the treatment and care of Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassaemia.

This year was especially meaningful: it marked CPI’s first time collaborating with ASCAT, and ASCAT’s 20th anniversary, a celebration of two decades of impactful community leadership.

We’re honoured to be working alongside ASCAT’s Trustees to help shape the next chapter of the Academy. Exciting developments are on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next.

What an exciting time at the Solar Ireland 2025 Conference!

We were thrilled to see our recent rebrand for Solar Ireland come to life across the entire conference at the RDS. From the main stage design and app to all the signage, it was a proud moment for our design team.

It was a fantastic conference to be a part of, with a real buzz from the 600+ delegates discussing the future of the industry. Highlights included:

- An opening address from Minister Darragh O'Brien
- Two Stages of Content
- Live recordings of 'The Power Hour' podcast.
- An all-day Hackathon to accelerate solar solutions for Ireland's net-zero journey.
- A fantastic social evening event to end the day.

A huge congratulations to the Solar Ireland team on a successful event!

A very informative day at the Aviva Stadium today with AIPCO. For their Educational Event: Shaping the Future of Business Events through EDI. It was great to hear from a lot of different perspectives on EDI, not just from the speakers and panellists, but also from our own colleagues through the networking and workshop.

One of the key takeaways, and a theme that ran through the whole programme, is that EDI is essential, not optional. It's positive to hear that AIPCO will continue to support our industry through a focus group that will continue the conversations had today and bring them forward at the next Business Event in February 2026.

We look forward to being part of the conversation and continuing to strive for more inclusive conferences.
