“I absolutely loved working with Joy! I am an American who had a small destination wedding in Ireland, a country neither me nor my husband had ever been to before prior to our wedding this past April. Because we were foreigners we had to put a lot of trust in our choosen venue and with all our vendors.
Joy was super professional throughout the whole process and during our months of communication, which really calmed me at times when I needed it.
I did not order a lot of florals/decor because my venue was already mostly decorated but everything I did order from Joy was stunning. Only the bouquets & men’s boutonnières (buttonholes) were real flowers and the rest of the table/ceremony decor were artificial. I really loved that she offered both of these types of options, which helps with for whatever budget you have set aside for wedding florals. She even gave me a catalog with prices on everything, which was incredibly helpful and not something I had seen when I had reached out to other florists. This cemented my decision to choose Joy Filled Weddings.
The bridal & bridesmaid bouquets were particularly stunning! I had asked for purple toned flowers (mostly on the pinky-lavender side), white flowers, some greenery (including Eucalyptus), and some thistle to be in them. I was amazed and delighted she was able to get all of my requests for the bouquets fulfilled. The flowers held up well throughout the wedding day and even traveled with us after the wedding to Galway (last photo of the flowers with the bay), and held up well for a few additional days beyond the wedding.
Joy was also open to a little bit of experimenting and trying something new. I asked if we could add some artificial butterflies on the florals of the wedding cake & other decor and she agreed to try. I brought the butterflies with me from the US and she was able to pin them all to the florals in a flattering way.
I truly am so happy with me decision to hire Joy Filled Weddings. My wedding day would not have been the same without Joy’s help. Thanks Joy! -Dominique & Rian”
