Like everything in life.....all good things must come to an end. After 20 odd years in the flower industry I will be finishing up on Friday, May 2nd.

A massive thank you to each and everyone of you who has supported me over the years. I have been part of so many joyous occasions and equally very sad occasions.

For multiple reasons I decided to call time.

Any brides with upcoming weddings, fear not, I will still be doing your wedding flowers 🏵🌷🌹

I will be selling off props and stock over the coming weeks when I get a chance to do a clear out so if you know someone who may be interested please get in touch.

Huge thank you to Julia, from the cleaning staff who found a wallet from a member of my family last week with a substantial amount of money in it!

Great to see we still have honest, kind people in world! Thank you also to the staff from for all your help.

Definitely a rural West of Ireland tradition & in particular East Galway. The same scenes for today's Wedding in the rain as the groom left Kilkerrin for Headford. Such a fabulous tradition 🔥

Yesterdays wedding was exceptionally wet....horrific rain all day.....which makes me respect this lady so much.
Mary & Paddy were married in Moylough Church....and the tradition in a lot of rural villages like this is to light a fire and send the newlyweds off with the best wishes!!
I'm not exaggerating when I say the rain was hopping of the ground yesterday....it was an effort to get Mary & Paddy to leave the church yesterday it was so wet.
Up the road in the village, this lady waited at the side of a road in the lashing rain with her own little bonfire (keeping it dry with the plastic bag until Mary & Paddy came into view). I'm gutted that I couldn't pull into the side of the road and spend time getting a much better capture...but with the roadworks in Moylough yesterday, it wasn't possible. This is taken from my car as I was driving by.
Respect to this lady....we're living in an age of convenience...and I can tell she's from a different era.....it was anything but convenient to you to do what you did yesterday!!
