We are delighted to announce the official opening of our very own Bug Hotel, a lovely addition to our sawmill – designed to support local wildlife and encourage sustainability right here on site.

This special project was built by our former Managing Director, John Brady and his grand-daughters Maria and Lucy.

The great rescue today of a distressed Mallard caught up in fishing line at National Disabled Angling Facility Aughrim. After many hours tangled in weeds and fishing line the bird was rescued to safety. The Mallard survived with a badly damaged leg caused by the fishing line and otherwise ok. Congratulations to all who helped in any way to save this beautiful bird.

Weeds being dumped over Aughrim Bridge into the River OW. Not a nice sight on approach to the town. We have managed to clear quite a few a lot. Bins are just 10 metres away so maybe they can be used and try to help make Aughrim Great Again.
