Cheeryll & Nugraha Wedding at Leang-Leang Archaeological Park
Some weddings are remembered for their breathtaking views.
Others, for their extravagant celebrations.
This one will always stay with us because of the story behind the place.
For the first time in our 13-year journey documenting weddings, we found ourselves photographing a couple at Leang-Leang Archaeological Park.
Not because it was trendy.
Not because it was different.
But because it was home.
The bride grew up surrounded by archaeologists, spending her childhood in a place where history is preserved through generations. Leang-Leang wasn’t just a beautiful venue—it was woven into her life long before it became the setting for her wedding day.
And somehow, that made every frame feel even more meaningful.
Among cliffs that have witnessed thousands of years of human history, a new story quietly began.
A promise.
A family.
A future.
As photographers, we often say every wedding is unique.
But once in a while, we come across a celebration that reminds us beauty isn’t only found in the flowers, the dress, or the venue.
It’s found in the reason why a place is chosen.
