From our activities recap in Mexico, a sneak peek in the process of making El espacio detrás de la cabeza (The space behind the head). Inés Somellera’s Open Studio and collective exhibition at Casa Torre. 💫🌫️

In the images we show a moment during the installation process. The studio wall became a working surface for organizing exhibition layouts, archival references, anecdotes, texts, and ideas.

The Space Behind the Head was conceived as an exhibition and open studio in february presented at Casa Torre in Guadalajara, Mexico during Art Weekend GDL 2026.

Developed by Inés Somellera and Sandra Sánchez, in collaboration with Felia Salim and Citlalli Rodríguez, the Open Studio brought together artworks, archival documents and the concept of the space behind the head, one that that has accompanied Somellera’s practice for many years: the possibility of perceiving from “the space behind the head.” Influenced by her experience working with theater director Robert Wilson, the project proposes a shift away from frontal perception and habitual modes of attention.

In the pictures: Inés Somellera, Felia Salim, and Citlalli Rodríguez during the installation.

Why is open data so vital for the private sector?

Building a region requires strong synergy between government and industry. Transparent development data is the key that allows the banking and industrial sectors to contribute effectively to the local economy. During the Open Data Partnership Forum 2026, Felia Salim (ESAS Founder) emphasized that accessible data is crucial for mapping industrial needs and identifying potential revenue sources. This collaboration is essential to strengthen regional economic stability through more meaningful data utilization.

Nano and Ratna Riantiarno founded Teater Koma in Jakarta in the year 1997. The philosophy behind the name is to be continuous, never to be finished, and never ever to stop. With Teater Koma he skyrocketed as one of the plays in the world of Indonesian theater.

Sorry, Contest 1980, Cockroach Opera Trilogy (Time Bomb, Cockroach Opera, Opera Julini), Burisrawa Conglomerate, Golden Triangle Broker, Succession, Prima Donna Opera, Sampek Engtay, Sissy Sue, Opera White Snake, Asylum or Mental Hospital, Greedy Love, Semar Sue, Constipation Opera, President of the Birds, Republic of Bagong, Signs of Love

As an actor, he performed in Woyzeck/Georg Buchner, The Threepenny Opera and The Good Person of Shechzwan/Bertolt Brecht, The Comedy of Error and Romeo Juliet/William Shakespeare, Women in Parliament/Aristophanes, Animal Farm/George Orwell, The Crucible/Arthur Miller, New Rich People and Tartuffe or Republic of Togog/Moliere, The Marriage of Figaro/Beaumarchaise.
