Our Story
Tekakla Klappertaart started the business in Jakarta by 2012, and founded by Ms. Dewi Elyana, a Manadonese lady. She is envy to preserve and elevate the Indonesian culinary, especially those which comes from North Sulawesi. She has the commitment to make Klappertaart is widely well-known as one of cakes that is at the same level as other cakes from others countries.
We will indulge you with delicious coconut custard cake that are very famous in Manado. In fact, it is the icon for Manadonese Culinary that often become a souvenir to be brought for families outside Manado. We serve you with variety of choices of original, cheese, chocolate, durian, matcha, strawberry, and mocha. In we also remember those elderly whom wishes to reminiscence of klappertaart taste, by providing a less sugar flavor for them.
Starting from a homemade and online business, Tekakla Klappertaart is growing bigger which forced Ms. Dewi to search another kitchen just to produce her cakes. So by 2017, we have a separated kitchen for klappertaart which is located nearby where Ms. Dewi’s house.
Our current kitchen is located at Jl. Kramat Jaya Baru No. 24A, Johar Baru, Jakarta Pusat.
