Posting ini karena tiba-tiba nemu beberapa utas tentang WO yang sering menolak request client dengan jawaban, “Oh, itu bukan job desc WO.”
A few weeks before the wedding, we received a rather unique request: the groom's parents (from Bangladesh) wanted the bridal suite transformed into something that felt like home and full of flowers, inspired by how they do it in Bangladesh. Also, they have send off tradition to the bridal suite right after the reception.
Of course, it wasn’t an easy request to execute, especially since the wedding was taking place in a hotel, with all the limitations that come with it.
But instead of saying NO, we chose to respect the difference in culture, understand what the couple envisioned, and figure out what we could do to make it happen.
At the end of the day, being a wedding planner isn’t always about saying, "That's not our job". Of course, saying No can also be an option when something is beyond what we can reasonably deliver.
But sometimes, it’s about saying, "Let's see what we can do".
Because every couple has their own story, culture, and unique way of celebrating love. And we’re here to understand that, respect it, and do our best to bring their vision to life 🤍
