Par LED vs Fresnel? Both are essential but play very different roles. Here are 4 key difference of them:

1️⃣ Function

Par LED → Washes stage/backdrop with solid color, often for ambience.
Fresnel → Soft, even light with adjustable focus — ideal for front/stage wash.

2️⃣ Beam Character

Par LED → Fixed beam angle (unless zoom type), strong color output.
Fresnel → Variable beam (spot to flood) with very soft edges.

3️⃣ Effects

Par LED → Color mixing (RGB/CMY), static wash, strobe.
Fresnel → Natural white or warm tone, dimmable, often used to mimic daylight.

4️⃣ Best Use

Par LED → Background lighting, mood creation, decorative effects.
