Today we had the honour of creating two beautiful spreads for two very special families.

One family gathered to celebrate a wonderful 50th birthday, surrounded by generations of love, laughter, and togetherness. The other came to Bali for their annual family holiday — a smaller, intimate gathering filled with warmth and quiet joy.

While setting up the tables, we could hear so much laughter, excitement, and happiness floating through the villa. Those little moments always give us extra energy and inspiration to create something truly special for each family.

Because at the end of the day, food is never just about eating — it’s about the memories shared around the table, the stories told between bites, and the people who make life feel full.

A floating platter just hits different. Sunshine, tropical flowers, cold fruits, dips, cheese, and absolutely zero intention of leaving the pool anytime soon.

Small disclaimer before everyone asks 😅
We provide the food only — not the floating tray. Carrying a floating tray through Bali traffic sounds like an extreme sport honestly. Please ask your villa staff to organize the tray for you… we’ll handle the delicious part. 🍓🌴✨

A few weeks ago, a daughter reached out to us from afar, wanting to make sure her mum in Bali would feel deeply loved this Mother’s Day. Every detail was planned carefully, even making sure the platter arrived a day early, just so everything would be perfect for the special moment.

Today, this beautiful Mother’s Day platter made its way to Ibu Rochelle. A gentle reminder that distance may separate people, but love always finds its way home.

To the daughter Melanie who made this happen — thank you for letting us be a small part of such a meaningful surprise.

And to all mothers everywhere, thank you for the endless love, sacrifices, warmth, and comfort you give so effortlessly every single day.
