You may have come across a post circulating online regarding an incident involving a woman who slipped and fallen at the entrance of our restaurant.
First and foremost, we are genuinely sorry that this incident occurred, and we sincerely hope she is recovering well. At Garlic Lane Restaurant, we take the safety and wellbeing of our guests seriously. If any of our patrons were ever to be injured on our premises, our team is fully committed to providing immediate assistance and ensuring their comfort and care.
The individual in question was dining with us on Sunday, April 13th, 2025. As she exited the restaurant, she unfortunately slipped on the front step. Our staff, along with several customers who witnessed the incident, responded immediately to offer help. Contrary to her claims, four of our team members assisted her on the spot, offering to call an ambulance and even covering the cost of her transportation back to her hotel.
Her recent public statements suggesting that our staff ignored her and failed to assist are completely inaccurate and misleading. We have multiple eyewitnesses who can attest to what truly happened, and the entire event was captured clearly on our CCTV footage.
We are sharing this not to discredit anyone, but to clarify the truth and defend the integrity of our team and our business. We are a family-run restaurant built on honesty, care, and respect for our customers. We take great pride in the service we provide and won’t stand by silently while false accusations are made against our hardworking staff.
