Dave Toretto (born 19 May 1986 in Budapest) is a Hungarian DJ and music producer. His love for music began at an early age. He took his first steps at home with a synthesiser and a reel-to-reel tape recorder, later teaching himself the fundamentals of DJing and music p
roduction. His career began in 2001 with an unexpected twist: during a party, the DJ suddenly disappeared, leaving the crowd without music. Dave spontaneously stepped in to take over the decks. The success was immediate, and the passion became a lifelong commitment. Versatility and constant reinvention define his musical style. He has produced tracks across a wide range of genres, including trance, techno, hands up, electro house, progressive, tech house, and deep house. Performing under multiple aliases, he has also worked as a ghost producer for prominent artists. He played a key role in launching several successful projects. His mashups and remixes have received international acclaim and are regularly played by global superstars such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, ATB, and Markus Schulz. Dave is a prominent figure in Hungary’s electronic music scene. He has performed at nearly every major club and festival in the country and is also a popular guest in Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, and Ukraine. Energetic and engaging behind the decks, he creates a unique atmosphere and builds a strong connection with the audience, making each performance unforgettable. He has been nominated multiple times at the prestigious Ballantine’s Music Awards — in categories such as Producer of the Year, DJ of the Year, and Breakthrough Artist. His tracks and radio show have been regularly played across multiple stations. Among his most notable international achievements are the official remix request for Tomcraft’s Loneliness, a reinterpretation of Tiësto’s Louder Than Boom, and a remix of Avant Garde’s Get Down, which also received a release offer in Spain. He also has a special collaboration with Amanda Wilson, best known for her iconic vocals on Avicii’s hit Seek Bromance. In addition to his remix work, Dave also produces original tracks. His track Leila, released with a music video, received airplay in Hungary and several neighbouring countries. In 2018, he was also invited to perform at the legendary Ozora Festival. Following the pandemic, he launched his project under the name Dave Toretto with renewed momentum. Among his first successes was the 2022 remix of Do It To It by ACRAZE, which featured in several domestic and international DJ sets — including Fedde Le Grand’s radio show. In 2024, his remix of Fedde Le Grand’s I Just Wanna Party was included in the Dutch DJ’s year-end mixes. In 2025, he signed with Hysteria Records, joining a roster that includes:

Dave Toretto DJ és zenei producer, 1986. május 19-én született Budapesten. Már gyerekként is vonzódott a zenéhez. Első lépéseit otthon tette meg egy szintetizátorral és egy szalagos magnóval, majd autodidakta módon sajátította el a DJ-zés és a producerkedés alapjait. Karrierje 2001-ben indult egy váratlan fordulattal, amikor egy buliban a DJ eltűnt, és a közönség zene nélkül maradt, ezért ő spontán beállt a pult mögé – a siker azonnali volt, a szenvedély pedig életre szólóvá vált. Zenei stílusára a sokszínűség és a folyamatos megújulás jellemző: trance, techno, hands up, electro house, progressive, tech house és deep house műfajokban egyaránt alkotott. Több művésznéven dolgozott, valamint ghost producerként is közreműködött elismert előadók mellett. Több sikeres projekt elindulásában játszott kulcsszerepet.
