It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of IGSM 2026 in Zagreb. 🇭🇷 When we presented our vision to host this meeting, we were fueled by immense pride and motivation to welcome the global geodetic community.
Unfortunately, despite our team’s best efforts, unforeseen financial challenges and the loss of key sponsorships have made it impossible to organize the event at the level of quality you deserve. We explored every possible model to keep the event accessible, but the gaps remained too large to bridge.
We are deeply sorry for this outcome and hope that future hosts will find smoother paths. Let’s turn our focus and support toward our colleagues in Poland for IGSM 2027! 🇵🇱 See you there. 🤝
