SLOW SUMMER GROOVES vol. 1 - 10
Welcome to my collection of summer long dj series's of short and easy-to-digest mixtapes , taking you slowly from downtempo electronica through nu disco and indie dance to deep house , cruising steadily from 95 to 115 BPM.
I prepared a special musical selection
that will make your ears smile ,
so let me take you on a journey, no suitcase needed,you'll be all right, dont worry, we are traveling light.
When the days start growing longer,
and the Sun keeps burning bright,
The big salty Sea invites us back,
his waves are crushing loud,
but if you stop for a second,
and listen to the sound,
in the background you will hear,
song of Crickets that are singing proud.
The Sun is shining, but we have a hat,
60 hot days that will make you sweat,
8 long weeks of non-stop rising heat,
burning so hard that it slows every beat.
As music slowly in background blends,
I wish to you all my dearest friends,
to fully enjoy this sound escape,
while listening to my mix tape.
Finally for last but definitely not least,
a big shout out goes to all my loyal fans, that have been supporting me as dj Jan Frensin on this musical journey through all this years ( next year I'll be celebrating 30 years behind decks, wow, that is crazy right? )
You people are the best, you totally and absolutely rock, each and every one of you that at least once came to listen to me play and dance to my beats, thank you so much, without you all of this just simple wouldn't be possible..
Two years ago I had some, once in a lifetime extra free time on my hands,
so you lovely peeps got blessed with non less then 8 amazing summer mix tapes.
Then last year, no time at all, but I put all my love into vol.9, this 3h long mixtape and I guess it will have to do.
This year , unfortunately same, absolutely no time at all, my kids are right now my whole world, but I will definitely try to record the final last mix SLOW SUMMER GROOVES vol.10 somewhere at the end of August.
