Bristol pt.2 + Weston-super-Mare 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🌊
Final days in and around Bristol for the time being. Paid one last tribute to the vinyl gods by visiting Bristol’s Wanted Records and I must say - I was amazed by both the selection and pricing.
Being limited I could only opt for a couple of items.
Mark Stewart’s “As the Veneer of Democracy Starts to Fade” and the first Wishbone Ash.
Guy at the store said Mark was “very Bristolly” so I took his advice.
Bristol, you were amazing. See you next time. ✌️

Cardiff & Bath, sightseeing and vinyl hunting…
Visited the wonderful Kellys Records () in Cardiff and hmv in Bath. Sadly I didn’t have the money, energy or time to do more. Anyhow, I will always remember the kindness and willingness of people to discuss (as briefly as it was) music and pick up some good recommendations.

p.s. I couldn’t have gone back home if I hadn’t picked up a Budgie record from Cardiff, so I’m glad I found it! 😅🦜

Something wonderful happened yesterday . As part of my playlist I paid a tribute to Ozzy yesterday and lo and behold, I met a bloke (who is a friend of my dear friend .eras) from Plymouth who was, among many interesting things, a roadie for Sabbath in the 70s. The last pic shows his requests through the evening. Some of them fulfilled, some not. Also, friends and former students made the evening pass in a blink of an eye. Definitely on of the better ones .
