First part of our Iceland adventure (completely unintentionally) included visiting the largest record shop in Reykjavik, Luckyrecordsreykjavik. The staff was in the mood and happy to talk and offer recommendations. Cracked a few ‘wife/vinyl jokes and talked about local artists. The store itself is magnificent, huge and impossible for me to fully explore because the rest of the family was waiting for me outside. This time I went exclusively for Icelandic artists but I was shocked to see just how many of them there are to choose from. A truly rich musical past and present.
The weather, architecture and overall feel was amazing. 10/10
