Beatport got in touch with me to be this years guest curator for the Psytrance genre on the platform! This is also the first time they are doing it for Psytrance.

It’s such a huge honour to represent our beloved music on this massive digital music marketplace which holds so much importance to the whole ecosystem.

The year was 2011 - My first gig as StarLab.

A super nice little venue in Delhi called The Zoo where we eventually started a monthly Psytrance night - Stories From Outer Space that developed a small cult following. Totally Raw, DIY flyers..fuelled by nothing but pure reverence & curiosity..

I can see it here in my eyes. A longing for something yet to happen. A wild dream that this music could some day become my way of life, playing for the world’s biggest dancefloors.

Different times. Same fire. Still Dreaming and same headphones 🎧
