Torres’s love for dance music began in 1995 after visiting the legendary Berlin Love Parade for the first time. Deeply inspired by the energy and spirit of the event, he returned home and soon began collecting records, shortly after acquiring his first set of decks. By the late 1990s, Torres was already organizing and playing at numerous after-hours parties, quickly catching the attention of leading DJs and promoters in his native Croatia, where he started building a strong reputation within the underground scene. At the start of the new millennium, Torres solidified his status as a professional DJ through the project United Colors of House, performing alongside some of Croatia’s most respected domestic artists. Driven by a constant desire to push further, he soon founded BitchBlack, a project that evolved from an event concept into one of the region’s most recognized club nights. By hosting and booking international DJs, BitchBlack rapidly grew into a respected Croatian booking agency and an important platform for electronic music in the region. Throughout his career, Torres has performed extensively across Europe, with near-residency appearances at clubs such as Macarena (Barcelona), Goa (Odessa), Camera Club (Vienna), and Biro (Podgorica), among others. He has also delivered standout performances at iconic venues including Berlin’s KaterBlau and Paris’ legendary Batofar, firmly establishing his presence on the European underground electronic music circuit. Known for his deep, driving selections and tight mixing skills, Torres continues to evolve while staying true to the underground ethos that shaped him from the very beginning.
