外媒 PC Gamer 公佈「最討厭遊戲畫面特效」玩家投票結果，在累積約 7,000 票的淘汰賽中，「動態模糊」（Motion Blur）與「色差」（Chromatic Aberration）殺入決賽。

最終動態模糊以高達 80% 的壓倒性得票率「榮獲」最差特效冠軍，雖然編輯承認動態模糊在低幀率或賽車遊戲中有其價值，但大多玩家與媒體一致痛批該選項總是預設開啟，逼得大家每次進遊戲都得先手動關掉。

Agility Robotics’ Digit humanoid robot can unplug its own charging cable, sit up, stand independently, and signal that it is ready for work. This sci-fi-like startup routine allows it to prepare for its shift without human assistance.

Standing 1.75 meters tall and weighing 65 kg, Digit can carry up to 16 kg, walk at around 5 km/h, and operate for several hours per charge. It is designed for warehouses and logistics operations, where it can handle repetitive tasks alongside human workers.

However, its charging-port design has sparked a humorous debate about engineering decisions, with people joking about how awkwardly the robot must position itself to disconnect. The technology is impressive, but the unusual charging setup makes you wonder who approved that design!

FIGHT! 34 years ago today, Mortal Kombat changed the game!

In 1992, Mortal Kombat hit arcades and became a phenomenon. The digitized fighters, brutal finishing moves, unforgettable characters, and those legendary words “FINISH HIM!” made it unlike anything we had seen before.

And let’s talk about those quarters! How many did you feed into this machine trying to make it just one more round? You’d put your quarter up, wait your turn, pick your fighter, and hope nobody standing beside you knew every special move and Fatality.

This game was a game changer. It sparked controversy, helped reshape conversations about video game ratings, and launched a franchise that is still going strong today with games, movies, merchandise, and generations of fans.

From Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kano, Liu Kang, Raiden, Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage to everything Mortal Kombat would eventually become, this is where it all began.
