Some moments in life feel like destiny finally catching up with you.
Today is one of those moments.
On this day, the anniversary of my very first steps into the world of DJing 47 years ago, something new is born. After decades behind the decks, traveling through more than 25 countries, sharing music, culture, and energy with people around the world… my first original song is finally here.
🎵 “Ay Que Mambo” is officially out on all platforms. A new chapter. A new sound. A dream I carried for years, now alive in the world.

It feels poetic that this release happens today.
Because my story began in Paris, at the legendary Golf Drouot, the same stage that once welcomed the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Bowie, The Who. In 1979, I stepped into the first French DJ Championship, not knowing that moment would shape the next 47 years of my life.
Since then, music has taken me across continents, into the hearts of dancers, artists, musicians, and strangers who became family. Every night, every crowd, every beat brought me closer to this moment, the moment where I finally share my own creation with the world.
To Christian Vilmot and Marc Ricci, who believed in a young dreamer in the ’80s, thank you.
To Erik El Chamaco, who helped give birth to the legend of DJ SalsaGodfather, gracias Socio.
To the countless artists, dancers, photographers, and friends who shared stages and memories with me, your energy lives inside this track.
To everyone who danced with me across five continents, this song is for you.

Forty‑seven years later, I’m still learning, still creating, still dreaming.
And today, for the first time, I’m not just playing music, I’m releasing my own.
