At the 2019 Interflora World Cup in Philadelphia, I proudly represented Hong Kong, a dynamic crossroads of East and West, with a breathtaking floral masterpiece. This creation was a tribute to my heritage, weaving together tradition and modernity. The centerpiece was a mesmerizing floating disc, sculpted from 2,000 meticulously skeletonized leaves, artfully layered to evoke the serene elegance of a lotus leaf—a symbol of purity and resilience in Chinese culture. Delicate flowers, nestled in tiny tubes, were thoughtfully arranged to form a vibrant wreath, encircling the design with life and harmony. Crowning this work was a handcrafted cork wood pagoda, a nod to an ancient artisanal tradition that traces back thousands of years, reimagined in a bold neon pink hue. This vivid color captured the pulsating energy and neon-lit vibrancy of Hong Kong’s urban spirit. As a floral designer, I poured my heart into this creation, blending cultural reverence with contemporary flair to craft a living artwork that speaks to both heritage and innovation.

在2019年費城世界盃上，我以香港的代表身份，展示了一件融合東西方文化的花藝傑作，向我的根源致敬。這件作品以2,000片精心挑選的骨架葉緊密堆疊，塑造成一朵懸浮的蓮花葉盤，象徵中華文化中純潔與堅韌的精神。細小的花卉被巧妙地置於微型試管中，環繞成一個充滿生機的花環，散發和諧之美。作品的頂端是一座手工雕刻的軟木寶塔，承載了千年傳統工藝的精髓，並以大膽的霓虹粉色噴塗，映襯香港那充滿活力的都市光芒。作為一名花藝設計師，我將對文化的深情與現代創意融入這件作品，打造出一件充滿生命力的藝術品，訴說著傳統與創新的交融。
