In the past few posts, we’ve talked about hotels for wedding days and ruins for welcome cocktails—today I want to share Sofía and Garret’s wedding, which had that same structure.
The first event took place at Santa Clara Ruins to welcome all their guests, and day two was fully hosted at Hotel Museo Santo Domingo. We started with the ceremony at the chapel inside the hotel, followed by a cocktail hour under the huge ceiba tree while the couple had their photoshoot and a first look at the reception setup.
What’s the best part of doing it this way? No transportation logistics for guests—they simply step out of their rooms and walk a few steps to the celebration. ✨
