Nervous Tribe

Brussels based DJ.Kiosk Radio resident. Future Roots music

Nervous Tribe is the project of Greece-born DJ and designer Stefanos Monasteredes (formely known as Plughead). Materialising as radio shows and DJ sets, Nervous Tribe constantly shifts its focus between Roots and Future, blending music with a complete disregard of industry standards and conventions. Nervous Tribe aims for a sound system culture free of music genre tags, for a DJ set that sounds like something between rave, dance, ritual and protest.

Incoming! Fam at the controls of the one and only DIY soundsystem of the Aegean Sea.

Lesvos, run come join the dance!

Bring what you need, leave nothing behind. Respect the beach, its wildlife and each other.

Massive dump of cuts from my last 3 sets at Kiosk Radio in random order. Showcasing what Nervous stands for: complete disregard of music genres and a gentle middle finger to DJing orthodoxy.

More of that on Soundcloud and even more in upcoming sets. Stay nervous!

We met with Andreas by accident a few years back, right before his first set in BXL.

But two DJs never really know each other before they share the decks and that is happening in my upcoming .radio show. 13/03 18:00 - 19:00

No preparation, no rehearsal, live on air.
