She is a cultural manager, DJ and founder of Polyafica project. Born in Larissa and based in Thessaloniki, she brings a long history of DJing and deep musical research, drawing on diverse influences that blend psychedelic textures, deep bass, bold percussion, and synth‑driven grooves with the rhythms of Africa, the African diaspora, and beyond. From this fusion, Polyafrica emerged as the name of her sessions, capturing her wide‑ranging musical identity.
In 2018, inspired by a trip to Tunisia, she wanted to bring that energy back to Greece. Polyafrica soon evolved into an event series hosting label owners, DJs, producers, and musicians from around the world. Notable guests include Burnt Friedman, Hailu Mergia, Samy Ben Redjeb (Analog Africa), Mark Ernestus (Hard Wax), Ak’chamel and many others.
Although the events are not exclusively Afro-centric, the name Polyafrica remains, as it has established a vibrant community where poly-cultural aficionados, audience and artists, share their passion and focus on rare music traditions from every corner of the globe.

This time, Tania invites two dear friends and amazing DJs * & * to share the decks and celebrate 8 years of Polyafrica!

He is an Italian DJ and co-founder of Funkamari and Moonstera Collective. Born in Sicily and based in Florence, he is resident DJ and music curator at the Papa Doble listening bar, whilst shaping the underground scene through projects such as Guacamolle, Todo Junto, Luar and Sonido Mundial.
From Italy to Cuba, via Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, the Balkans and beyond, Fanqueiro has brought his sound to dancefloors across the globe, becoming the only European artist invited to the Havana RPM International Vinyl Festival 2025. He has shared the stage with artists such as Nickodemus, Ghetto Kumbè, Jigüe and many others, building a musical language that connects diasporas, dancefloors and deep listening.
A passionate vinyl hunter with a deep love for sounds from around the world, he blends rare grooves and tropical frequencies into fluid, ever-evolving sets.
Rooted in Afro-Latin and Afro rhythms and driven by a raw, intercultural energy, his sound moves between organic textures and electronic beats — halfway between ritual and the club.

He is a DJ with Greek, Armenian, and Ethiopian roots. His interest in Latin American music led him to Colombia’s Caribbean coast, where he built his own picó, La Saramuya. La Saramuya is a Picó Sound System born from an immersion in Colombia’s Caribbean culture. Inspired by Barranquilla’s carnival and the legendary Picó street parties known as “Verbenas”, La Saramuya is now based in Athens,
Greece and moving across Europe. This Picó was built with the guidance and specifications of local experts, and embodies the craftsmanship and sound that define this culture, including the artwork by Maestro William Gutiérrez.
A smaller sister picó remains in Barranquilla, maintaining the connection between both systems and fostering cultural exchange. Blending new and old sounds, La Saramuya carries a clear cultural mission to transport the dance floor into a musical Odyssey, remaining faithful to her roots with every performance, to make this culture grow and evolve, always with the utmost respect to the Cultura Picotera.
In his DJ sets, Stivako brings picó culture to life by blending African, Afro‑Latin, Brazilian, and Caribbean sounds from the 70s to today, recreating the raw energy of Colombia’s street parties, the legendary Picó and Verbenas.

💥𝟴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮💥

💥 STIFF BUSCEMI LIVE
Opening act: PANTELIS STOIKOS LIKE QUARTET

FRIDAY 20 MARCH
Doors open 21:30 |

⚫ Stiff Buscemi is an instrumental psychedelic rock band from Novi Sad, Serbia. The band draws inspiration from various types of local peppers, African spices, and Middle Eastern teas. Spontaneously formed in 2018, the band spent the next three years searching for its identity and musical expression through jam sessions, collaborations with other artists, and experimentation with sound and style. In 2022, the band began working on its first official album, “Jet-Black Highdooks”, which defined their current sound and style. In 2025, the album saw the light of day in collaboration with the record label Inverted Spectrum Records.

⚫ Pantelis Stoikos Like Quartet made its debut in September 2018 at the Jazz Festival Chellah in Morocco. Since then, they have performed at numerous venues and festivals across Thessaloniki and northern Greece. In October 2019, they took the stage at the NIOU Jazz Festival in Tirana, Albania. A highlight for the group was sharing the stage with Balkan music legend Ivo Papazov and internationally renowned jazz musician Milcho Leviev. Their repertoire blends contemporary jazz with influences from both local and broader Balkan musical traditions, striking a unique balance between East and West.
