Santa Maria Estate produces three generations of high quality wine from its own vineyards. In the Estate one can view the vineyards, visit the estate’s winery and have wine tasting events. In Messogia, the cultivation of the vine and the making of wine, have a long unbroken tradition which, remain today an important activity of the locality. The winery

is located in the heart of the vineyards and has been built with due respect for the local environment. It combines an appreciation of the traditional methods whilst using the latest technology and equipment. Santa Maria Estate offers a range of selected wines which include white, rose, red, Cabernet Sauvignon and the traditional Retsina with its unique style. The wines are sealed with the care and the experience of three generations of Papaharalampous family. Wedding Receptions
The estate also provides indoor and outdoor spacious areas for any venue you have in your mind. A couple can perform a Wedding Ceremony at the estates’ chapel, have a Wedding reception outdoors in its beautiful garden during the summer or indoors in the winter. We work with professionals and we are here to serve you directly and ensure that your wedding goes exactly as planned. We provide you with the catering and the services that are the best in the business in order to ensure the uniqueness of each couple’s requests. We want to maintain the comfort; simplicity and atmosphere that you would like to have in your own home with the pleasures of a house both in the ceremony and the reception. Other venues we have held at the estate throughout the year are company meetings with a combination of wine tasting. Medical conferences have been arranged outdoors in the beautiful landscape. Graduates arrange graduation parties or have cocktail parties. We have held family gatherings like celebration of an anniversary/birthday with the family and friends,

Groups of tourists also visit the winery to have a Wine Tasting event and have traditional food. A famous TV program is filmed at the estate at the moment which refers to Greek traditional dances, traditional music from each and every part of Greece. Program also refers to the history of musical instruments that were used in the past or instruments that tend to disappear. During the filming you feel awe when you see how many young people have managed to love and keep the Greek tradition! Other TV episodes have been filmed at the estate also making the scenery look so beautiful. Elementary schools from all over Athens visit our grounds daily to see on the spot and learn every detail on the process of wine making from the vine to the bottling. Children also experience the production of olive oil by actually collecting olives from the olive trees to the making of olive oil.
