Thinking about having a hen do in Rhodes…??? my wonderful sister in law organised the most insane evening at a local restaurant Called Limanaki Restaurant-Ψαροταβέρνα Λιμανάκι which is a five minute drive to the nearest harbour. We had a mini bus collect us and returned us to the hotel and we had a drink downstairs at El Verano Beach House before heading upstairs. As you can see from the pictures there is a wonderful set of steps that takes you from the bar to the restaurant which makes for an amazing photo opportunity. The restaurant is a seafood restaurant and the food, drinks, atmosphere and stunning backdrop around the whole Kolymbia cove was incredible. The restaurant were so accommodating they even let us do a mob dance in the middle of the restaurant that we had been practising for the wedding day… house of bamboo… Will post some videos also as the photos don’t show it all…

Let’s talk flowers: Prior to the wedding I requested flowers for the tables at the evening reception setup and all the rest were included in my package. It’s not until your meeting with your coordinator at the hotel that you decide on what flowers you would like for your bouquets and arrangements. I chose white roses and gypsophelia with eucalyptus which was timeless. Also chose buttonholes to match and the colour ribbon around the base. I didn’t see these until the wedding day but they were beautiful. Have any of you got pictures of yours to share?

Our cake was chocolate and I paid for an extra tier to cater for 48 guests in total. I took my own cake topper from Etsy.

Anyone curious about the pergola setup here is one of my guests video arriving. All the lights and tables all setup as part of the package and exclusive for us and away from the rest of the hotel. I paid for the DJ who was fabulous and able to play some very random requests… I also had the fireworks included in my package which was done from the beach and I wa sable to chose the song to be played whilst these were being set off 🎇🎇

On our wedding day we spent the afternoon between lunch and dinner on Matsigkos Fast Boat Kolymbia for a two hour cruise...

On our wedding day we spent the afternoon between lunch and dinner on Matsigkos Fast Boat Kolymbia for a two hour cruise up the coast. They collected us from the hotel in an air conditioned bus took us 5 minutes down the road to the local harbour where we walked down to the boat. I took my own playlist and connected onboard and there was a full bar. At the harbour there is the most stunning blue and white chapel on top of the hill which makes for stunning backdrop for photos…. Highly recommend. Cost us around £750 for all of the transfer, boat trip, and a few bubbles onboard thrown in!!

Lunch in the main restaurant… I was very jubious about having a lunch in the main restaurant for my wedding as thought it wouldn’t be special and take away from the evening reception. I didn’t provide any decorations for this part and this is what the hotel provided… it was perfect. It was all setup away from the general public and so easy as people could pop up as many times as they like and our drinks were served to us. There was no seating plan so everyone sat where they liked. My husband actually went and selected some food for me based on what I had been enjoying previously without any colour to prevent any accidents 🤣 hope this helps…
