🌍 Connectivity Begins Here

Crete is now on the global map of digital interconnection.

At the official launch of HER1, Digital Realty’s new data center, government officials, global media, and tech leaders came together to celebrate a strategic milestone—not just for the company, but for Greece’s role in international digital infrastructure.

🎤 The event, moderated by journalist Demetris Mallas, featured keynote speeches by

– Alexis Kalokerinos, Mayor of Heraklion
– Stavros Arnaoutakis, Regional Governor of Crete

From Construction Site to World-Class Launch

How do you plan a high-profile international launch event… on a construction site?

When the new HER1 Data Center of Digital Realty in Crete was still being built, RSVP was tasked with designing and executing the opening ceremony.

Faced with a constantly evolving brief, we transformed a bare plot into a fully equipped, high-impact event venue:
📍 From the ground up, we created a press area, presentation zone, kitchen, lounge, and guest reception.
🎪 Tents were transported from Athens, custom flooring laid, a stage and LED screen installed, along with an interpretation booth, tailored signage and branding, and seamless live transitions between setups.
🌿 The press conference space - initially designed for 25 guests - was reconfigured in just 3 minutes to host 180 attendees, thanks to modular structures and mobile green dividers.

The grand opening moment stole the show: seven illuminated pillars, seven activation buttons, and a powerful video display on the LED wall, symbolizing the strategic hub’s role in connecting Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and East Africa.

🇬🇷 Greek Breakfast, Reimagined 🍽️

Assigned by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and the Ministry of Tourism, RSVP was proud to help bring Greece’s rich gastronomic heritage to the forefront through an event that showcased the Greek Breakfast Initiative—a program that connects gastronomy with Greek hospitality.

Our aim? To fuse culinary heritage with a refined guest experience for a truly remarkable gathering of esteemed women.

🍽️ The buffet, with the aid of chef and restaurateur Argyro Koutsou and curated by Popi Begnis , celebrated seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, with recipes deeply rooted in regional tradition and sustainable practices.

🥧 Every recipe told a story—of place, of memory, of care.
Like the pie that brought together trahana from Mount Parnassos, feta from Lesvos, spinach from Marathon, olive oil from Zakynthos, salt from Mani, and wild herbs from Mount Ymittos. A quiet gathering of five regions in one bite. To us, this is heritage.

🌿 Custom signage described each dish. Decor infused with Greek natural elements—herbs, olive branches, and wildflowers—transformed the buffet into a multisensory experience.

🎤 During the second part of the event, food journalist Eleni Psychouli, the participating women producers, and the chef shared stories, insights, and reflections that enriched the experience—prompting guests from across cultures to engage in meaningful conversations, compare traditions, and celebrate the universal language of food.

Navigating Diplomatic Protocol & Event Etiquette

✨ Hosting an event with 25 ambassadors, along with politicians, government officials, and industry leaders, requires thoughtful planning and a deep understanding of protocol and etiquette.

🎯 Careful attention to the order of precedence and formalities ensures a smooth and respectful experience for all guests.

🌍 Cultural and religious sensitivities are equally important, given the diverse backgrounds of attendees.

💡 With RSVP’s experience in managing high-profile events, we strive to balance precision and discretion with warmth and hospitality.

This event was a fascinating journey and a meaningful experience for us as we had the privilege of welcoming esteemed women from literally all continents on the occasion of World Women’s Day.

Through a private viewing of the new temporary exhibition at the Museum of Cycladic Art paying tribute to the women of the Cyclades from the Neolithic period up to the 19th century and an authentic "Greek Breakfast" experience, we celebrated Greece’s rich cultural and gastronomic heritage—showcasing how history, tradition, and human connection come together to create something truly special.

👉The Greek Breakfast Initiative 👈

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Ministry of Tourism and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels hosted a “Greek Breakfast” at the Museum of Cycladic Art, inviting 27 women ambassadors in Greece, industry leaders, and officials. RSVP Events was honored to bring this sophisticated experience to life!

🎤 Moderated by food journalist , the event featured insightful speeches from Minister of Tourism Ms. Olga Kefalogianni and Chamber Chair Mr. Alexandros Vassilikos.

✨ The event commenced with a private tour of the exhibition “Kykladitisses: Untold Stories of Women in the Cyclades”, a powerful tribute to women’s influence across the centuries.

🥘 A grand buffet, curated by chef Argyro Koutsou & caterer Popi Begnis , showcased traditional Greek dishes, emphasizing local ingredients from around Greece and culinary heritage, the essence of Greek Breakfast initiative.

🫒 A unique display of Greek products by women producers-entrepreneurs offered guests the chance to engage with premium local goods and the inspiring stories behind them.

💫 From ancient Cycladic women to today’s female innovators, tourism, gastronomy, and culture remain timeless forces of identity, tradition, and progress.

🥂From Lunch to a Midday Dance Party 🎶

What started as a relaxed Sunday lunch quickly transformed into an epic midday party for a milestone 50th birthday!

🎸 At ‘The Big Five Oh,’ guests were treated to an unforgettable musical experience featuring a roaming band flown in specially for the occasion. Elevating live entertainment, the band engaged with guests during the cocktail hour and lunch, taking song requests and bringing vibrant energy to every table zone. The atmosphere soared as they performed iconic tracks like Celebration, Viva la Vida, Beautiful Day, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, and I’m Still Standing—each reflecting the unique theme of its respective table.

💃 By the time lunch was served, the party was in full swing, with guests dancing, musicians climbing onto chairs, and an atmosphere filled with pure joy.

🎶 The almost free-seating concept, envisioned by our birthday celebrant, added a lively touch, seamlessly blending movement and connection. But above all, what stood out was the overwhelming love from everyone for this incredible, kind-hearted, and genuinely warm woman as she celebrated her milestone 50th birthday.

🎉 The Big Five Oh 🎉When you turn 50, you celebrate big! And it was, indeed, a big all-day celebration that RSVP organized on a sunny October Sunday! Follow us as the 50th birthday party for 230 guests at the stunning seaside residence on the Athenian Riviera unfolds! 🍸Apart from the stylish cocktail area, the vibrant garden featured an elegant lunch section, artfully divided into five zones inspired by our client’s favorite songs. The décor embraced warm autumn tones, while tents and umbrellas provided shade from the brilliant Athenian sun. Guests were greeted with exquisite cocktails, serenaded by a phenomenal five-piece band flown in from abroad, delivering on-demand performances. 🙏🙏 Special thanks to , , .gr, , , , our live band showcasing impeccable talent, and many more wonderful collaborators who all played a part in making this event a success! 🌟Pre-Christmas, But Make It Exotic 🌟

Exotic colors, festive vibes, and a setting like no other—RSVP Events transformed this home into a vibrant, unconventional paradise for 180 guests.

The seamless indoor-outdoor flow, bold multi-colored décor, and unique elements like a food caravan and beach chairs paired with blankets and rakomelo, left guests lingering between Christmas and summer.

But what truly made the night? The energy. A crowd that danced for hours, a host whose positive energy and spirit inspired the theme, and a party that reminded us all why we celebrate: to come together, have fun, and break free from the ordinary.

Here’s to more unconventional in our lives!

💃The other way round🕺

Who starts dancing before drinks? These guests did! From early on DJ Antonis Dimitriadis set the party tone transforming the house into a huge dance floor full of friends & family who didn’t stop dancing all night.

Should we always abide by the rules, or is it better to follow our hearts?

With waiters passing around French fries in glass shots with ketchup, savory cheesecake bites, and a street vendor roasting chestnuts on a brazier, guests experienced an eclectic mix of flavors.

Craving a typical Easter treat like 'kokoretsi,' but also drawn to classic Christmas delights like crepes and Glühwein? It might sound crazy, but we brought them together— perfectly blending tradition and fun-and our guests loved it!

And yes, dessert came first with ice cream served as the ultimate welcome treat!

A “Partathlon” for every taste, by all means!

🎉Partathlon 2024 🎉

Who says Pre-Christmas parties have to follow the rules? For this vibrant celebration in a private residence, RSVP Events took on the role of agent provocateur, breaking every convention to create an unforgettable experience for 180 guests.

🌴 Imagine this: a summery, exotic twist on the holiday season with multicolored décor, a lively indoor-outdoor vibe, and that glorious Greek weather setting the perfect scene. A big neon sign—Partathlon 2024—captured the spirit of the night, celebrating our inspiring hostess who conquered marathons and triathlons across the globe this year.
From chaises longues with blankets and “rakomelo” to a dance floor that never emptied, this was anything but your typical holiday party.

✨ New Year, New Perspectives ✨

Sitting here at the top of this snowy mountain, I realize life’s peaks and valleys. Sometimes, we feel on top of the world, celebrating our accomplishments. Other times, we find ourselves at rock bottom, searching for the strength to climb back up.

Both the peaks and the valleys have something to teach us, shape us, and remind us that the journey itself holds so much beauty.

As we welcome 2025, let us embrace every triumph and every challenge, knowing each is a stepping stone to growth and resilience.
