For four days, the School of Philosophy in Athens became the meeting point for 2,600 archaeologists and heritage professionals.
The 32nd EAA Annual Meeting brought together research, ideas and perspectives from across the international archaeological community.

Beyond the scientific programme, delegates enjoyed a Welcome Reception at the historical central building of the University of Athens, gathered at the Old Depot for the Annual Party, with cocktails, music and dancing and admired the full moon at the Byzantine Museum garden during the MERC party.

Η Έγκαιρη Παρέμβαση στην Ψύχωση στο επίκεντρο.
Στις 16–18 Οκτωβρίου 2026, η Σύρος φιλοξενεί ένα σημαντικό επιστημονικό ραντεβού αφιερωμένο στις σύγχρονες εξελίξεις, τις κλινικές προσεγγίσεις και τις καλές πρακτικές στον τομέα της Έγκαιρης Παρέμβασης στην Ψύχωση.

The 32nd EAA Annual Meeting is officially underway in Athens.
The first day begins with registration at the School of Philosophy, welcoming 2,600 participants, and continues at the historic Propylaea of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception.
Europe’s largest international meeting of archaeologists has begun.

Final preparations are in full swing for the 32nd EAA Annual Meeting.
Tomorrow, 2,600 participants will come together at the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens for four days dedicated to archaeology, research and international exchange.

Today, our team is on site for the final preparations and volunteer training, getting everything ready to welcome the archaeological community to Athens.
