🌟 Throwback to one of November's highlights! 🎉 We're still on a high from organizing an unforgettable birthday party for the amazing , all the way from Sweden! 🇸🇪 Josephine brought her friends and family together in Athens for a night to remember, and we were honored to make it happen.

Held at an iconic theater, the evening was filled with great food, drinks, and company. 🍴👥 A huge shoutout to for the stunning birthday cake featuring an Athens landscape by the talented Spyros Vassileiou, and to our incredible bar team for serving up top-notch cocktails! 🍰👏

-Carnitas, the authentic double cooked pork dish from MIchoacan.
-Tinga de pollo, chicken cooked in a rich tomato / adobo sauce.
-Refreshing avocado cream with a touch of jalapeño pepper, fresh coriander, and lime.

Mama-Roux may be a catering company now, but we have a rich history.
Our roots go back to our time as a restaurant in the heart of Athens, where we spent 10 incredible years serving up delicious food and good times, including our legendary Mexican fiestas! 🌯️ 💥

Our doors closed for the last time on November 2, 2020, coinciding with the Dia de los Mu***os celebrations, just as the city was about to enter its second lockdown.
Though our restaurant may be gone, the spirit lives on through our catering services, where we bring our unique flavors and international flair to private events and parties.
As Dia de los Mu***os approaches on November 2nd, let us bring a ray of Mexico to your celebration! 🌟 Tacos, margaritas, and traditional flavors to make your event unforgettable. 🌶🍹🌮🪇🥑🎶

In collaboration with Nikos Katsikanis ,
A food professional who has been involved in Mexican cuisine early in his career, After a years stage in the first Mexican restaurant with Michelin star (Punto MX, Madrid), guided by the famous Roberto Ruiz, he got heavily involved with the Mexican cuisine. Worked in Oaxaca, Mexico for several years, discovered the depths of pre Hispanic Mexican cuisine in indigenous communities, travelled and cooked in other parts of Mexico, gaining deep knowledge of different culinary cultures of each places interpretation of Mexican food
