When leaders kneel Nations can stand
There is a difference between power and wisdom.
At the National Prayer Breakfast, President Nayib Bukele reminded leaders of a timeless truth:
When God offered Solomon anything, he did not ask for wealth.
He asked for wisdom.
And wisdom built a kingdom.
El Salvador’s transformation did not begin with policy alone.
It began with prayer.
It required courage.
It required confronting darkness — spiritually and practically.
Leadership without God becomes ambition.
Leadership with God becomes stewardship.
James 1:5 says if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask — and God gives generously.
Our world does not need louder rulers.
It needs wiser ones.
If God can shift a nation once known for violence into one of order and security,
He can revive any land that seeks Him.
Let us pray for leaders who value discernment over fame, righteousness over applause, and obedience over popularity.
Revival begins at the top — and flows downward.
