One of my most challenging year is 2023 but God held my hand and guided my steps.

The journey has not been easy but worth the sacrifices, hard & smart work, dedication and adventure.

Back in 2011, when I left the University of Ghana, I took a path that I could relate with naturally.

Little did I know that, the items (biscuit, drinks, ice cream, etc) I sold to my friends and how I marketed and convinced them to buy was preparing me for the future.

I was not aware of the communication elements when I was acting as the DJ and MC for “our day” (variety show) parties in Achimota School.

12 years on, I have learned alot from prolific industry players along my Marketing Communication, Brands and Event career.

If I begin to mention names, I guess you will continue to read for another 1 hour.

The birth of Events Bureau back in 2015 took my experience, perception and zeal to a whole different pedestal.

I am happy to announce that, we are back with great news.

A team of young talented smart and creative experts in their own capacity is ready to take your business, brand, product & services to a different realm.

We have also decided to support young entrepreneurs with practical tips on how to best positions their businesses and build a solid brand that will stand the test of time.

When ever you feel engulfed by fear, pause for a minute and ask yourself these questions;

-What am I soo afraid of?
-Why might I be feeling this way?
-What evidence so I have that I could get through this?
-Am I imagining this scenario without God’s presence,power and provision?
-What would it look like to Trust God and myself in the midst of this situation?
-What is within my control (and what is not)?

After asking these questions, you might have recognized the fear and ready to deal with it.

Create goals that are “musts” ,
Recognize the excuses
Surround yourself with success
Find valuable insights in pain.
Visualize your Goal
You will also need to adopt a growth Mindset

Accept that you’ll fail at a point and that will be a learning curve.

Stay positive and fight your fears

After saying goodbye to University of Ghana ,Legon in 2011, a lot was going through my head.
Awaiting my national service posting was one of the moments I asked myself a lot of questions and did some reflections.

I was trying to match my final year course to the kind/type of work I might end up doing and that got me thinking a lot.

Even though I couldn’t go up North to teach due to several conditions beyond me, I landed at MTN Ghana for my national service and began my Sales & Marketing journey.

I learnt alot from my TSCs and enjoyed every bit of my stay at MTN Ghana

My brand management path began as I was officially hired at Swivel Marketing and it was a great learning curve.

In September 2015, on a faithful afternoon lunch date with an old time friend, I conceptualized an idea and carved a start-up out of it.

Events Bureau started as a campus activation hub, using innovative fun activities to market and sell the products and service of brands whose target market are students on campus.

In my next post, I will continue the journey and tell you more about the new improved,revamped, & Re-energized EVENTS BUREAU.
