Exactly a week ago today, the HM Consult and Events (HMC&E) team in collaboration with the ASHMA NASPA Body organized the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Day as part of the ASHMA-NASPA Week Celebrations to end the service year.
As part of preparations, the HMC&E team brought together dynamic, experienced and hardworking young entrepreneurs who are making meaningful strides in their respective fields. They came to inspire the personnel and share practical guidance on how to successfully transition into the job market or establish their own businesses after service.
Speaking on the theme, "Empowering Service Personnel through Entrepreneurship & Innovation", we had:
Ernest Nana Antwi, CEO of HM Consult and Events to talk on the topic, "General truth about the job Market and How to build a sustainable startup business in Ghana."
Afia Kwakyewaa-Kwakye, CEO, Akwaaba Yoghurt Official handled the "Realities associated with creating a product centered and service centered business."
Daniel Asare CEO, Trolley Market Group exposed participants to the "Prospects in the Ghanaian agriculture sector for youth in Ghana."
Michael Effah, CEO, Access Linx, spent time discussing what today’s HR managers look out for before granting employment,
Rev. Ing. Etornam Samuel Kornu shared the relevance of the "God factor in building and sustaining business in Ghana," and
Mahei Barikisu , the recent past former ASHMA-NASPA Financial Secretary, rounded it all up with a training on "How to make and bottle liquid soap for business."
As a firm, our main goal for putting up this program were:
1. To impart the next generation on how to embrace entrepreneurship.
2. To build strong relationships by offering free advisory services to prospective customers.
3. Provide a guidelines to help personnel adequately prepare for the job market.
Beyond the wealth of knowledge and inspiration shared, participants also received exciting giveaways from our distinguished guests.
We are absolutely encouraged by the overwhelming feedback received after the event and are inspired to scale it up in future editions.
Special appreciation goes to the ASHMA District Manager of NSA, Madam Vivian Agomeh, for her exceptional support and guidance throughout the preparations and the week events.
