Looking forward to this year's Liberation Day Guernsey celebrations!

Families celebrating Guernsey’s 80th Liberation Day can look forward to a packed schedule of free, fun-filled entertainment at the Children's Zone on Crown Pier.

Children can enjoy classic rides on the pier, including a chair-o-plane, helter-skelter and carousel.

The Children’s Zone, sponsored by Waitrose, will also feature a crafts and tea tent, generously run by Trinity Church, that will sit alongside an arts area, climbing wall, skateboarding, bubble shows, games, princess appearances, face painting, hair braiding, biscuit decorating along with many more.

Exciting as always!

🏃 🫧 BIG NEWS!! 🫧 🏃‍♀️

As most people are aware I’ve been searching for a new venue for this years Bubble Run. I wanted somewhere extra special for the children and their families and I am over the moon to be able to announce that His Excellency Lieutenant General Richard Cripwell has given us permission to hold the Bubble run in the beautiful grounds of Government House!! 👌🏻🙌🏻🫶🏻 We’re going up in the world!!

Laurel does an amazing job every year with putting on the bubble run :)

I’m heading to Beau Sejour this evening for the Guernsey Sports Commission Sporting Achievement Awards.

A lovely person has nominated me for the Sports and Nautical Events Shield for the organisation of the annual Bubble Run and the now-annual visit of Healing Waves - Ocean Therapy to Guernsey.

It’s a strong category with some big international events so I don’t expect to win, but I’m so very grateful to have been nominated 💕

A fun day at Amherst School for the infant schools Christmas Parties! ❤️🎅🏻🫧 Such lovely children! I hope they all enjoyed the shows and all going inside a bubble! 🫧

Look at this line up of amazing creatives! Channel Islands Pride is taking place this weekend and the parade will start from our home at Candie Gardens.

Guernsey Arts are very proud to be showing support for Liberate & Channel Islands Pride through grant funding.

The arts are a powerful tool for personal expression. Over the years, we have had some incredible Guernsey artists in our midst who have paved the way for personal expression worldwide including "the greatest Guernsey artist you've never heard of", David Robilliard. We believe and strive for the arts community in Guernsey to be accessible and inclusive for everyone❤️
