John-Ross Photography Hey, I’m John-Ross, a Guernsey based photographer working across business portraiture, events, weddings, and landscapes.

One small studio, one calm, natural approach, documenting people and places through real connection and careful observation. JR Photography delivers an all round photographic service producing images of a high standard from capturing beautiful wedding, events and commercial business portraiture. Set up by Guernsey based photographer John-Ross Hainey much of his landscape work has been inspired by the dramatic and stunning landscape and coastline of the Channel Islands.

Action packed footy at Victoria Park to end the season, the last game for these two epic school teams will play, and play they did, what a game! 900 photos later and I’m still trying to work out what goal keeper had it worse.

Now if only we could persuade the teachers to play against each other by the end of the school year, THE BAUBIGNY CUP (teacher’s edition)? Id be there 😉

81 years of liberation celebrations and spending time with people twice your age can change your perspective, I quickly realised we were celebrating friendship across all ages, maybe that’s the liberating part.

What I seen was friends reunited, enjoying each others company, sharing new and old stories, smiling and laughing and still being tested on the dance floor, makes me wonder if my neck really hurts at all. But as long as they keep showing up, Ill be right behind them.

Not every moment needs a filter, just a little more care and attention and it might just show you where life really comes from, there’s no show without a gathering.
